About the Kit

Our kit is specifically designed to maintain wheel clearance to the wheel wells at full compression while maximizing wheel travel so that you can get the travel numbers of a truck that came stock with 35s and the clearance numbers of a truck that came stock with 37s. The shocks still ride in their designed ride zone for best performance on and off road as well.

In the diagram above, all setups share equal clearance between the tire and the wheel well at full compression. Trucks that came stock with 37s and trucks with 35s that only have bump spacers installed have their travel reduced by 1" in order to keep the same wheel well clearance.

With our kit installed, you don't have to choose between full travel and wheel well clearance. Both front and rear keep the full 14" of travel in the front and 15" of travel in the rear while having improved wheel well clearance. If you're comfortable with the clearance between your tires and the fenders already, the slap this on and put your money where your mouth is with some 39s.

Up font the story is similar. However, with the top hat, the bump stop surface, eyelet, and preload setting is built into one part, so the individual changes are harder to visualize.

With the installation of the bump stop spacer, the wheel position at full compression is matched to that of stock 37 truck. On its own this would reduce travel to be equal to that of the stock 37 truck. Our shock eyelet undoes this travel loss by allowing the wheel to droop further. Then, when the spring spacer is installed, ride height relative to wheel and shock travel is corrected to be the same as stock as well.

With the top hats, this is all built into the top hat since it functions as the shock eyelet, bump stop surface, and spring preload setting.
